Golf Tourism in Pakistan

Pakistan is merely known as a destination for mountain, culture or religious tourism whereas there are good number of world class Golf Clubs in the country. All 45 Golf Clubs are equipped with all international standards one can expect in other parts of the world – there would be no exageration if I claim Pakistan a paradise for golfers. Rawalpindi Golf Course:

Rawalpindi Golf Course is near Ayub National Park, very close to Islamabad (Rawalpindi and Islamabad are twin cities). The course has total length of 4.2 kilometers. Rawalpindi Golf Course is one the most beautiful golf courses of Pakistan with magnificent surroundings and also a center of major annual golf tournaments of Pakistan.

Islamabad Golf Course:

The Islamabad Golf Club is located right on the foothills of Himalaya in the capital, which was founded in 1967 to become a prominent entity. Islamabad Golf Course is  18 hole championship course that is suitable to hold any level of world class tournament with its superb landscapes of Himalaya mountains.

Bhurban Golf Course:

Bhurban Golf Course is one the best courses in Pakistan, especially for spending holidays in cold climate of Bhurban hills. It is located at a distance of around 15 Km from Murree Hills, Bhurban Golf Course is a 9 hole course at a height of 6000 feet above the sea level.

Karachi Golf Course:

Karachi Golf Club is situated in Karsaz, Karachi. The 27 hole golf course is the oldest golf club in Pakistan. The golf course is turfed, landscaped, and filled with greenery, situated in one of the largest green areas of Karachi city.

Arabian Sea Country Club:

The Arabian Sea Country Club is located in Bin Qasim Town, Karachi. It is a recreational club with a golf course and several other sporting facilities. Arabian Sea Country Club is 18 hole golf course, which also has an international standard cricket ground, currently used as a venue for some domestic matches.
